All across the globe, hearts are breaking over the devastating losses from the floods in Texas.
As we link arms in prayer and love to support Texas through this heartbreaking time, we invite you to join in the grief journey and discover hope and healing for your hurting heart.
How the Grief Journal Came Alive: Experiencing the death of her beloved uncle (“Christobear” in the story), ten-year-old Amelie wrote “Where’s Bear?”
As one who holds treasured memories from her favorite places in Texas Hill Country, Amelie’s aunt (“Kimberbunny” in the story) added her expertise in Human Relations and grief to create our interactive workbook to help the heartbroken find hope and healing during this difficult time.
What Can This Do For Me? Whether working through the workbook individually or as a family, you’ll find prayers, affirmations, blank spaces to write or draw, and exercises in grief appropriate for all ages.
How Can This Help Others? Consider donating a journal to someone who is grieving. Proceeds benefit those directly affected by the floods in Texas.
**As an additional blessing, Where’s Bear? retails for $18.37, but we bought it for you! We just ask that you pay your shipping / handling to receive it (just $9.95 US).
About the Authors: Ten year old Amelie wrote the story “Where’s Bear?” Her aunt, KP LoveJoy, shares her expertise in the workbook from her Master of Human Relations and as a Master Resilience Trainer who took a deep dive into grief and resilience during her professional experiences caring for Gold Star Families with the Department of Defense and deploying to Puerto Rico during the largest natural disaster in FEMA history (Hurricane Maria). Serving government, small business, non-profit, faith based organizations, churches, schools, community based organizations, and individual clients, KP travels the world as a keynote storyteller on a wide range of topics related to her proprietary models for whole person resilience in mind, body, and spirit. She is a ghostwriter and authored several books and articles on protecting children from the dangers lurking online as well as spiritual, mental, relational, vocational, financial, and physical wellness.
